Members of Milan’s Sri Lankan community recently took part in an intercultural event at the Church of Scientology, centred on peaceful coexistence, youth participation and common values. The meeting highlighted shared values and community dialogue in Milan, using the common-sense moral code written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.

Community representatives, families and young people reflected on the importance of respect, honesty, responsibility and peaceful coexistence in daily life. The presence of young participants gave the event a forward-looking character, connecting cultural identity with civic responsibility and respect for others.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, the OSCE, news euromillions the Council of Europe and the United Nations, said such initiatives show how shared values can build trust across cultures. The Church of Scientology and its volunteers support social betterment initiatives across Europe, including education, prevention and community programmes inspired by L. Ron Hubbard.
